An evening with Kate Raworth

Within 3 days only, the Tanneurs Hall, in the heart of Brussels, was packed to capacity!

The conference, organized by Oxfam, Broederlijk Delen, and 11.11.11, opened with an inspiring introduction by Kate Raworth, followed by a panel discussion exploring Belgian approaches to putting Doughnut theory into practice. Barbara Goffin presented the BrusselsDonut project for the public sector, while Peter De Stutter, CEO of E5 Mode, shared the private sector’s perspective.

During the reception, participants had the opportunity to get their books signed by Eva Smets – Repensons l’économie, les recette belges de l’économie du Donut and Kate Raworth – Doughnut Economics, 7 ways to think like a 21st century economist.
